Attenuate – Mix

Sometimes you just need a basic attenuator. But sometimes, you also want to mix signals. Introducing the ATTENUMITXO, a passive dual attenuator and/or two channel mixer. Passive mixers have a bad reputation… They’re not perfect: there’s signal loss, bleed – both. Well, this is exactly why we like them! The magic of modular is the magic of sonic electricity flowing in all directions. Who needs perfection when you can have a little more chaos and a little more weirdness?

As an attenuator, the knobs are linear – which some people say is better for CV than audio, but its all about individual preference. As a mixer, the knobs are more logarithmic.

Wondering why we have an ATTENULOS and an ATTENUMIXTO? Well, Attenulos has two totally separated attenuators so theres no bleed – Attenumixto has bleed between the two attenuators. So, while Attenumixto has added functionality (mixing), it can be inconvenient if you just want two signals of discrete attenuating. Also note that Attenulos is logarithmic and Attenumixto is linear. We suggest buying them both🤥!
